The Covid-19 Pandemic has obviously affected us all, but did you know that it has also affected the funding of our local Central PA Humane Society?  Why not help the AAHS Student Council as we raise funds for our furry friends! All you have to do is bring in $1 and a picture of your pets.  Your pets’ pictures will then be put on display throughout the school for all students to enjoy, and the money raised will be donated to the Humane Society. Money and pictures can be turned in to Mrs. McAleer in A309, Mrs. Hogan in B318, or the school store. Today is the last day for submissions. 

ATTENTION STUDENTS:  Rachel’s Closet is opening today.  Stop by room B304 to check out the free clothing, coats, suits and prom dresses.  The Closet will be open periods 6, 7 and 8 this afternoon.

ATTENTION ALL SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS AND SENIORS – Have you done any community service work in the past year?  Community Service performed for the school course doesn’t count.  If so you could win $200 from The Challenge Program!  Applications for the Community Service awards are available in the Guidance Office.  Applications are due by

April 28th.

It’s time. There will be a fun Astronomy Club meeting after school on Tuesday, 

April 27th from 2:50-4:30 PM for any interested students. We will have popcorn and students will enjoy a lecture on popular conspiracies. They will not be so scary to keep you awake at night, but just enough to give you the heebie-jeebies. Hope to see you there!

ATTENTION JUNIORS:  The Senior Class Election will take place sometime during the month of May.  If you are interested in running for a class officer position, please make sure you check your email and fill out the Google Form.  All forms MUST be completed by Wednesday, 

May 5, in order for you to be on the ballot.  Your classmates will elect a senior class president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.  Please see Mrs. Harris or Mr. Dumm if you have any questions.

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Applications for the Blair County Chapter of the PA Association of School Retirees are now available on our website, the senior google classroom and outside the counseling office.  You must be in an approved program leading toward an elementary or secondary teaching certificate.  Completed applications are to be mailed to the address on the application before June 1.

ATTENTION SENIORS:  The application for the William R. Sankey Memorial Scholarship is now available.  This application can be found on our website under scholarships and on the senior google classroom.  Hard copies are also available outside the counseling office.  Completed applications can be turned into the counseling office.  Deadline is April 30.  Late applications will not be accepted.
