AAHS Students: Did you want to submit to Et cetera but need more time to finish your piece? Maybe you just procrastinated? That’s okay! The deadline to submit to the Art & Literary Magazine has been extended one more week. Submissions are now due on Friday, May 7th. All mediums of art and creative writing are welcome. Please submit your work today for an opportunity to be published in the school Art & Literary Magazine. See Mrs. Lowe in A213 or email her at [email protected] with any questions.

 

Attention all students at AAHS:  Foreign Language Club is sponsoring a Foreign Language Week this week.  Theme days continue tomorrow, Wednesday May 5th, with Tacky Tourist Day, where all students and teachers are asked to dress like a typical tourist.  Don’t forget to sign up for the week-long scavenger hunt with your favorite friends and teachers!  Also, respond correctly to a trivia question each day this week for a chance to be put into a drawing to win a small prize.  For more information and to enter for prizes, please join the AAHS Foreign Language Week Google Classroom with the code: p2bxgx5

 

ATTENTION DRAMA CLUB:  It’s time for our end of year meeting to elect officers and our homecoming candidate!  We will also have really important news about end of year events and a free field trip.  The meeting is today after school from 2:45-3:30 in the Blackbox.  There will be a Zoom link for virtual students.  Please see Mr. Cossitor if you cannot attend.

Attention students taking the SAT this Saturday:  The doors by the Planetarium will be open at 7:30 for check in for your SAT.  Be sure to bring your ID, ticket, number 2 pencils, and calculator.  If you are not taking the essay, you can expect to be finished by 12:30.  If you are taking the essay, you will be done at approximately 1:00.  Listen to the announcements on Friday for any updates or changes to this plan.

 

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Have you made your final decision about plans for after graduation?  Let your school counselor know where you want your final transcripts to be sent.
