On Oct. 30, the ArtsAltoona center will be hosting a concert featuring two student bands, Sweet Desire and Abstentious along with other local acts. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with Sweet Desire playing at 5 p.m and Abstentious to headline later on in the evening. To continue the Halloween spirit, the event will also be a costume party.

“The show’s going to be killer or at least it better be. We got a bunch of awesome bands we’ve been playing with for a while like the homies in Sweet Desire and Christian from Skyline Drive, and we got some new people we’re going to be playing with for the first time. I’m just excited to be playing more shows. I love the energy you feel when you’re playing live and you love to see the fans going insane and having a Halloween show with everyone is going  to be sick,” senior Jake Hicks said.

General admission will cost $10 with a costume and $15 without. The event will take place at 2212 6th Avenue Altoona, Pa.
