Chocolate salami is a Portuguese and Italian dessert. It is made from chocolate cake that has been sprinkled with broken biscuits, almonds, cherries and walnuts to give the cake the illusion of salami.

On Nov. 19, the Fanatics of Language and Culture Club (FLC) will be hosting a cultural food fair in the library. Students who are a part of the club will bring in foods from different cultures including matzah ball soup, almond cookies and chocolate salami cake. The food fair is only available to faculty and staff and will be open during periods one through five on Monday.

“People can enjoy food from around the world and maybe learn something about the different cultures,” adviser Veronica Skomra said.
