Attention Students: There will be an Earthkeepers Club meeting today at 2:45 to 3:15 in
A303. We will be doing a workshop on identifying trees by leaf type. Please consider joining if
you enjoy nature, hunting, fishing, plants and conservation of our resources!! All students are

Attention Boys Basketball: There will be an open gym today at the AAHS Fieldhouse from
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for anybody in 10 th , 11 th and 12 th grade who is interested in playing boys’
basketball. You cannot participate if you are playing a Fall sport. Thank you.

Attention Junior Academy of Science Club Members: We will have a brief meeting tomorrow,
September 21 st , at 2:50 in B228. We will be discussing what is involved with a competition
project. Please bring your forms and dues if you have not yet turned them in.

Attention 9 th grade Boys: There will be an open gym for boys’ basketball tonight, September
20th, at the junior high Fieldhouse from 6:30 to 8:15 for 9 th graders who are not playing a fall
sport.

Dear Seniors and Juniors,
If you are over 16 years of age and would like to take the ASVAB on Tuesday, October 4th,
please refer to the email that Mr. Neely sent to you on September 16th. The link to sign up is
on this email. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, September 28th. The Armed Services
Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) can help you take steps toward finding a career that is
right for you. You can benefit from taking the exam whether you plan to pursue further
education after high school, join the military or join the workforce. The exam will begin
promptly at 8:00 am in the back of the auditorium. You must sign up via the link from
Mr. Neely's email to ensure that there is an exam for you. More information about the ASVAB
can be found in the counseling office. Please see your school counselor if you have any
questions.

Attention Seniors: Have you ordered your yearbook yet? Any senior who orders a book
during the month of September will be entered into a drawing for 2023 graduation gear like
