Journalism staffs to go to New York
Journalism students went to Saint Francis University in the fall. They competed in a competition, then went to different sessions.
From March 15 through March 18 the Mountain Echo and Horseshoe Yearbook staffs will be traveling to New York for a convention. The convention will take place at Columbia University.
“We’ve had hopes on going for several years but haven’t been able to due to COVID-19. Columbia University wasn’t able to do the convention, but we’ve had an award opportunity every year to my knowledge,” Mountain Echo Editor in Chief Cassidy Klock said.
The Mountain Echo staff will be receiving a Gold or Silver Crown for their publication.
