Altoona wins nine awards at the Isaacs
On May 28, the Mishler Theater hosted the eighteenth annual Isaacs Award.
“42nd Street,” Altoona’s spring musical, was nominated for 12 awards. Of those 12, Altoona won nine awards.
Best Supporting Actor in a Male Role – Ethan Eisenhart
Best Stage Crew
Best Ensemble – Tap Ensemble
Achievement in Choreography – Claire Piper and Emily Berkheimer
Runner Up Achievement in Design – Alex Hamel, Costumes
Best Dance Number – “The Audition”
Best Leading Actor in a Male Role – Ryan Longstreth
Best Musical Number – “42nd Street”
MVP Award – Talen Turiano
“42nd Street” was runner up for the Best Production Award as well.
Along with nine awards, the cast took home $8,500 in scholarships.
