It's Christmas time. The majorettes and silks pose for a picture before the 2022 Christmas parade in downtown Altoona. The band presented spectators with Santa at the end of the parade.
On Saturday, Dec. 2, the marching band will perform in the “Holiday Celebration” at the downtown Altoona Christmas parade.
“The Christmas parade is a wonderful holiday tradition in Altoona,” drumline adviser Michael Baker said. “We always have a big crowd, and I look forward to seeing everyone’s smiley faces in the daylight this year.”
The parade starts at 1:00 p.m. and features not only the marching band but the band fronts including majorettes and silks.
