Homecoming football game set for Oct. 4

This year’s annual homecoming football game will take place on Oct. 4. It will be played at Mansion Park against Harrisburg at 7 p.m..

At this football game, homecoming candidates will be escorted and introduced on the field. This is the culminating event of the homecoming festivities, as it’s when the queen is announced.

As the football team is working together on the field, the homecoming candidates are also supporting each other.

“I am also excited to see my friends beside me as I cheer them on as well,” candidate Emma Bettwy said.

Be sure to attend the game if you want to watch some great football, and find out who will receive the crown.

On most days, you can find me playing tennis, but I also enjoy cozying up with a good book. My favorite things are Taylor Swift, Pinterest, coffee shops and chilly fall days. My plan for the future is to study sports medicine and to buy my dream car, a black Porsche.

Hey! During my third year on staff, my senior year, I have taken on the role of being Editor in Chief for Mountain Echo. My sophomore and junior year, I served as associate editor. Outside of school I enjoy hanging out with my best friend, exercising, watching Netflix, photography and working as a lifeguard and teaching swim lessons at the YMCA. After high school I plan to pursue a medical path, with the intent of being a nurse practitioner. I'm looking forward to this school year and seeing what it brings our way!
