Turkey Bowl set for Nov. 26

The fourth annual Turkey Bowl is set to take place on Nov. 26, on the Roosevelt Field. The Turkey Bowl is an annual powderpuff football game for juniors and seniors. Teams are chosen by students and consist of a minimum of 7 female players and maximum 3 male players. In total there will be 11 teams this year.

“You get to gather a group of athletes and play a great game; its one of the highlights of the year,” senior Turkey Bowl player Bridget Delozier said.

The school’s band, along with the Lioneers, will have performances. MLTV will also be broadcasting the game to classrooms

Funds from this year’s game will benefit prom.
