The jazz band had a concert on Thursday, April 25 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the B building.  The jazz band was directed by Larry Detwiler and performed six pieces. The orchestra is set to perform May 19 and chorus May 9.

“We very much in tune and played very well,” sophomore Jackie Ertwine said.

Dates for the concerts have stayed the same but some adjustments were made for who performed when.

Choral director Kelly Sipes will direct the chorus tonight. The group will be performing seven pieces and there will be six or seven solos. The pieces being performed are: “We Are the Voices”, “Wade in the Water”, “Sweet Caroline”, “No Time”, “900 Miles”, “A Million Dreams’, and “River Song.”

“I’m excited for our concert, we’ve been working very hard and practicing every day,” sophomore Gabriella Rodriguez said.
