On May 2, 2019, Altoona varsity baseball team played Punxsutawney. The game was away and was held at 4:30 P.M. During the game, players said they had to keep their head in the game and stay focused the whole time in order to beat the opposing team.

“In order to stay focused during a game, I clear my mind completely,” sophomore Tyreke Green said.

Along with the team staying focused and on task, they hold each other to certain standards and make sure everyone is doing their best.

“I expect my team members to stay focused until the end of the game,” Green said.

Because of the baseball team’s effort to stay on task, they beat Punxsutawney 24-5.
