Last Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019, juniors voted for class officers. The class officers are president Jack Hatch, vice president Isabella Frank, secretary Lydia Baum and treasurer Paige Vallei.

“I wanted a leadership role and to be more involved in the school,” Baum said.

Junior class committee members who were not running for an office position handed out ballots. Juniors voted on paper and handed them back to the junior class committee members.

After the results were tabulated, the announcements came on during seventh period on Thursday, to introduce the names of the officers.

“I was extremely proud when I heard my name over the announcements; I’ve never run for anything before,” Baum said.

The class officers are currently thinking about what their plans are for this school year.

“I want more fundraisers to raise money for the school and input for new ideas people have,” Vallei said.
