Every Thursday of each month, a few period 5 classes go to the auditorium lobby to help pack backpacks.

“We pack them here during the day for Penn Lincoln, then the community service workers take them over during sixth and seventh periods,” community service teacher Kimberly Shope said.

The Mountain Lion Back Pack Program helps out elementary students who may go home without food for the weekend.
