On Nov. 11, history teacher James Lowe will be taking his students to the Veteran’s Day parade to show support to veterans.

“I first took students to the parade in the year 2000. This is the twentieth year. I think it’s a really important life lesson in history class to respect veterans and things they’ve done for our country,” Lowe said.

The students who are attending will be watching the parade while standing behind a banner with the school’s name on it. The idea is to show that the school supports the veterans who fought for the country.
