ATTENTION JUNIORS & SENIORS TAKING THE S.A.T. THIS FALL:
Mr. Spayd has just added S.A.T. Math practices (#8→#10) to his S.A.T. Google Classroom site. However, the site still contains Weeks (#1 → #7) for all New students.  Anyone can join and participate. Each week there will be a new Math Practice placed onto the Classroom for the first 12 weeks of school year. Presently there are 75 students participating, so join the crowd and improve your S.A.T. Test scores.

Attention Black Student Union members: Please join us for our second meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 28 via Google Meet, where we will be picking club officers and planning our first monthly event. Any students wishing to join can sign up using class code: ofuugpp

Attention Students:  Tickets are now ON Sale for our Choose Your Own Halloween Adventure at Fort Roberdeau on Friday, October 30th from 7:00 pm-10:00 pm!  Tickets ($5.00) are available locally at the Altoona Area Public Library main desk and at Fort Roberdeau.  Trick-or-Treat Night is between the Fort cabins from 6:30-7:00 pm, for students 12 and under (with admission). 
Opening Presentation-At the Observatory from 7-7:30 pm, then guests return to one of the 4 areas

Attention Students:  The Mountain Echo and Horseshoe staffs are partnering with the Maniacs for a Halloween Spooktacular contest. We want you to submit a picture of yourself in a Halloween costume “then” when you were young and then “now” with your costume this year. Bonus if you dress up now in a similar costume as your “then” pic!  The Maniacs and journalism students will vote for the winners on October 28.  Winners will be announced October 29.  First place will win a Sheetz gift card and runners up will receive school store credit for when we return to school.
