On Thursday Sept. 27 the Astronomy Club went on their first field trip to Fort Roberdeau to prepare for the upcoming Haunted Trail. This trips purpose was to prepare the club members for the upcoming Haunted Trail at the fort where they will be scaring some of the participants who come for the experience.

The Haunted trail will begin on Oct. 14 and will have the club doing their best to scare the participants from 6:30-10:00 p.m. The trail has lanterns to guide guests on an experience that will involve some definite scares in the pitch black dark with the Astronomy Club.

“I am hoping to scare at least some people, and I think this trip is going to be really fun. So far astronomy is my favorite subject, and I’m very glad that I am in the club,” sophomore Liberty Amick said.

The prices range  is $5 per ticket or $20 per car load with all proceeds benefiting the Mountain Lion Observatory. Be sure to go check out the trail to be in for a good fright.
