Members of Spectrum club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Astronomy Club are doing a turkey drive for St. Vincent de Paul during October; specific dates are yet to be determined. The drive will be held at AAHS.

Students are doing this to support local the community and build support teams among groups in the building.

“This is going to be a joint effort between three clubs. Mr. Fox came to me and asked if our club would be interested in joining efforts to try to give back to those in need in our community. Essentially, we will be attempting to raise money in order to purchase turkeys that will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul, an organization that helps local families in our community. I think anytime our club, or even student body, can get involved in helping the community we should take on that role. It helps build bridges to local business and community leaders,” adviser Jeff Guyer said.
