My name is Miley Naugle, I am a 10th grade reporter on the AAHS Mountain Echo. This is my second year on the staff and my third year as a reporter. My favorite thing to do as a part of the staff, was take photos. I started writing on the Livewire staff in 8th grade. I love to take photos and write sports stories. I also like to run, I have been running since 7th grade. I run Cross Country and long distance for Track. I am part of the Student Council and I am also in chorus. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and spending time with my little sister.

Almost there. The 5,000 yard race consists of 20 laps, down being one and back being two. The swim team has boards they can put into the water to show the swimmer what lap they are on, they also have different movements to tell the swimmer to go faster or slower.

Dive! As soon as the officiant says go all three boys dive into the water. There are two Altoona boys racing against one Tyrone boy.

We got this! Before the race Altoonas relay team huddled up for a talk. The boys relay team consists of four members.

Get ready. Swimmers get into the best stance for them to dive. A few seconds after this the swimmers began their race.

Just keep swimming. This was the end of the race when both swimmers were giving it their all. Altoona was the only team that competed in this event.

Lets go Altoona. The student section cheers for the football team. This was the last home game that students could attend this season.

Good game. The Altoona and Mifflin County players shake hands after the game. Mifflin County number 32 gives Altoona number 24 a pat on the back and talks to him for a few seconds.

Hey girls. The Lioneers and the cheerleaders team up for a cheer. The student section also participated in the cheer.

The silks. The silks freeze with their flags down at the end of their performance. The silks did their performance on the field during halftime.

Game on. Two players face off while Mifflin county tries to prevent Altoona from getting the ball. Altoona was tring to score a touchdown to get a ahead in the game.

The game begins. Altoona had the ball and was running the play in hopes of making a touchdown. Shortly after a tackle was made ending the play.

Last home game. The team comes out linked together arm in arm with head coach Vince Nedimyer in the middle. After the team pumped each other up in a huddle before running onto the field.

Work, work, work. The Altoona and Mifflin County teams face off against each other. It was a close game and came down to the last 30 seconds when Altoona made the game winning touchdown.
