German Classes and Foreign Language Club will travel to the German Christkindlmarkt in Mifflinburg on Friday, Dec. 15, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Due to a shortage of buses in the district, they had to get buses from out of the district. For the trip, there will be lots of crafts, food, vendors and live shows and performances.
“My favorite, in addition to the overall feeling of ‘home’ and everything Christmas at the market, is the performance of Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy. He combines circus skills with a dry German humor and is an absolute treat to watch perform,” German teacher Sandra Mitchell said.
Students should wear appropriate clothing for the cold weather, since the market will be outside. Students are also responsible for makeup work.
