Junior Lincoln Frank plays a role in Mountain Echos publication with the many years of experience Lincoln has contributed to Mountain Echos enlightenment. Junior Lincoln Frank has contributed to the Mountain Echo since his sophomore year. In those years, he has learned that opinion writing is his forte.
Frank feels journalism connects with fellow students.
“I think the most interesting thing about Mountain Echo is the way that we can connect to the student body and really provide them with information and interesting things,” Frank said.
Frank took Introduction to Publications his freshmen year and decided to join the Mountain Echo instead of the Horseshoe yearbook.
“I’ve always liked writing, so I did like the writing portion of the intro to pub program. But like the yearbook portions of Intro to pub, I actually wasn’t all that interested in the yearbook part. Mrs. Vanish asked me to join and do opinion writing. At first, I said no, but then I reconsidered and joined,” Frank said.
Frank has had no desire to continue in the journalism world. Instead of carrying out the journalism path, he instead wants to go into marketing or political science.
