On Dec. 15 the Lioneers will be performing for the first time this basketball season at a home game against Central Dauphin East. They will be performing a jazz and pom dance they practiced since this summer.
“I love basketball season; it’s honestly my favorite part of Lioneers. I love performing at the football games, but basketball season is better because we get to showcase our actual performance and dancing skills and not borderline cheerleading,” senior Lillian Roberts said. “We’ve always performed at basketball games, but this year we’ll be doing a pom dance and a jazz dance, which both are fun, and I imagine are fun to watch, as they’re super high energy.”
The Lioneers only perform at varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball home games.
