On April 22, students of the biology and life science teachers will be attending one of three presentations given by Reptiland.
The three presentations will take place in the auditorium. The first session will be held at 8:30 a.m., followed by one at 9:30 a.m. and concluding with one at 12:30 p.m. Each presentation will be about an hour long and will be held during their regular biology or life science classes.
“The Reptiland presentation is primarily focused on biodiversity, and I think it will be a great opportunity for students to learn a bit more about the topic outside of the traditional classroom lecture,” biology teacher Mary Heiple said. “Any time that we can incorporate presentations like these, it gets students more interested in the material and provides some real-world examples of the things that we are learning about in class.”
Students are expected to make up any work they might miss due to the presentation.
