Attention Seniors: Undecided about where to attend college? Next week is a busy week for college visits. Please plan to stop by the visiting universities’ table between our 2 cafeterias to find out more information about their programs and campus life. Monday, September 16 will be Messiah University, Tuesday, September 17 is Penn Highlands, Thursday, September 19 is Penn State Altoona and we will finish up the week with a visit from Saint Francis.
Attention FLC: Find out if people all scream in the same language by helping the Astronomy Club scare unsuspecting guests at our 8th Annual Haunted Fort Roberdeau fundraiser. Your help last year was invaluable, and we would love to have you back for more adventures this year. Please attend this Thursday’s Astronomy Club planning meeting in the Planetarium from 2:50-3:30 p.m. if you can.

The Friends of Rachel’s Closet is now open during periods 6, 7, and 8. Students may visit the closet with a pass from a teacher. The closet is closed during class change times. The closet is named in honor of Rachel Scott, who tragically lost her life in the 1999 Columbine High School shooting.

Attention Students: Are you struggling in any of your classes and feel that you could use some extra help? If so, AAHS and the National Honor Society offer FREE PEER TUTORING, Monday through Thursday, in the high school library from 2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. for any subject area. You will be required to sign in and out. Please make sure to bring all notes, handouts, etc. that may be needed to help you. Please note that this is not an after-school hangout. You will be working one-on-one with a tutor and be expected to be actively engaged in your work at all times.
