Attention 9th grade boys planning on playing basketball this year: There will be an open gyn tonight from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Junior high. Attention Students: The boys and girls’ cross-country teams traveled to Grove City on Saturday to participate in the John Sample Invitational. The Girls came home with a 2nd place finish, while the boys finished 7th in a field that featured 18 teams. The girls had four medalists. They were Ashyln Noce, who finished 2 nd overall in the race, followed by Mary Stoltz who was 14th and Lana Luke who was 16th and Brionna Adams who was 25th. The boys came home with two medals. Dean Sunderland finished 8th overall while Andrew Quinn took the 24th spot. Good luck as the cross-country teams take on Central Cambria this Wednesday. These are great opportunities to introduce you to the Juniata community. Attention Seniors: Do you have what it takes to be a Lineman and work for an electric, cable TV, phone or fiber optic company? Global Power Line Academy is offering a 10-week training which will provide graduates of this program the ability to begin a career as an apprentice and work toward a journeyman classification. Stop by the literature rack outside of the guidance office to pick up a flyer with more information.
