Attention anyone interested in playing 9th grade boys’ basketball: There is an open gym scheduled at the Junior High on Monday the October 14 from 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Also, physicals will take place at the high school fieldhouse on November 14 at 3 p.m.
Attention students: Previously, tutoring was available in the library on a walk-in basis for one hour after school, Monday through Thursday. Moving forward, tutoring will be offered on an as-needed basis through Mrs. Dumm and National Honor Society. If you need assistance in your classes, please email Mrs. Dumm ([email protected]), and she will connect you with a National Honor Society member who will tutor you via Google Meet.
Attention Astronomy Club and FLC: There will be an important meeting today in the Planetarium after school from 2:50 p.m. – 3:20 p.m. You will receive permission slips for our epic Haunted Fort Roberdeau event on October 19. You did NOT need to attend our planning field trip in September to be able to attend this event. Hope to see you there!
Attention Juniors and Seniors: Krispy Kreme Doughnut orders and money are due to Mrs. Dumm in B120 or Mr. Dumm in A208 by today, October 10.
Attention any 10th, 11th or 12th grader interested in playing boys basketball this year: There will be an open gym/workout for any 10th, 11th and 12th grader who is considering trying out for boys’ basketball this season tonight from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the AAHS gym. This is not tryouts and is not mandatory.
Attention Seniors: If you have interest in working in Highway construction after graduation, this announcement is for you. Please take a minute to stop by the literature rack outside of the guidance office to pick up information provided by the Western Pennsylvania Operating Engineers Joint Apprenticeship & Training Engineers for information on how to apply for this program. Deadline to apply is December 31.
Attention Seniors and Juniors: Juniata College is hosting Open House events for junior and senior high school students in October. They will be held on Monday, October 14 and Saturday, October 26. These are great opportunities to introduce you to the Juniata community.
