Flyers hang around the school to promote the fundraiser. “Hats for Hurricanes” will donate money to families in need.
On Oct. 18, the Patriotic Student Alliance club will be holding a fundraiser to help support victims of the recent hurricanes. For $1, students can wear a hat of their choice. Students may turn in their money to any social studies teacher.
“The patriotic Student Alliance thought this would be a great thing to do to help our fellow Americans in need,” Patriotic Student Alliance adviser Tom Fox said. “A part of being patriotic is doing just that. We are hoping to get almost 100% participation.”
Students may also donate additional money to the cause during their lunch period on Friday.
