Student Council and the Red Cross would like to thank the brave and generous students of AAHS for donating at our blood drive on Tuesday. We collected 31 units of blood and had 21 first time donors! Our next drive will be on April 8, 2025! Well done Altoona High students and staff!
FBLA members are reminded there will be a meeting after school today in room B130. Please remember attendance at one meeting per month is required.
Attention students: Join us for a trip through the woods you will never forget. Fort Roberdeau’s Haunted Trail is this Saturday from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Can you brave nearly 100 of your friends lurking in the darkness, waiting to give you a core fear memory you’ll never forget? Those who survive the trail can explore the early skies of Fall at the Mt. Lion Observatory! Hope to see you there! For those who might be too scared, have your Mom make you some Easy Mac, stay home, and binge Outer Banks. Maybe those teens will find the treasure after all? No judgment here.
Attention Youth & Government members: We will be having our next meeting today after school in Mr. Blough’s room, B-320. Much of our focus will be on organizing the schoolwide mock election for early November. New members are always welcome. See you there!
Do you like to swim? Want to know what the swim team is all about? Want to try a sample workout? Please stop by the pool on Tuesday, October 22 right after school until 4 p.m.! Mrs. Yingling will be there to answer any questions!
Attention students: Did you know you are able to see your fine status in Skyward? Simply log in and click on “Fee Management” on the left. Doing so will show any fines that need to be paid. In order to attend major events at AAHS, you are not permitted to have any unpaid fines. Turkey Bowl is our next big event for juniors and seniors, which is in November. Please take the time to know where you stand and make payment in the main office if you have any fines.
