As we approach the 2024 presidential election, many Americans are asking themselves what kind of leadership this country needs moving forward. In a time of struggle with violence, uncertainty and division within society, the answer is clear. America needs a leader that provides stability, strength and security to the United States, making the only advisable choice Donald Trump.
Currently the United States is battling in an ongoing struggle within affordability for everyday cost under the leadership of President Joe Biden and his Vice President Kamala Harris. Although Harris promises to lower the necessary tax placed on goods along with inflation, throughout her reign as VP, she and Biden have made it nearly impossible to own anything with inflation, so why would she successfully do this as president?
“Under Donald Trump you required $75,000 a year to be able to own a home.” American conservative political activist Charles Kirk said. “It now requires $120,000 a year to buy a home under Harris and Biden. This is $50,000 more a year.”
Under Trump’s former presidency, the country saw economic growth, low unemployment rates and during the COVID-19 pandemic, wages were rising and the stock market was hitting highs. Trump’s policies, such as cutting taxes and reducing unnecessary regulations, for business and establishments encourage businesses to thrive.
We unfortunately live in a world today that grows excessively more dangerous day-by-day. Tensions are growing in Eastern Europe and in the Middle East, with the potential of World War III in the mix, but what is Harris doing to stop that? When Trump was in presidency, he stood as a strong leader to not only secure the border, but also build up our military to keep America safe and out of any crisis with other countries, creating four years of no warfare for the United States. With Donald Trump in the presidential position, he will bring peace back to America.
Another reason to support Trump in the 2024 presidential election is the values he carries to the traditional Constitutional Amendments that were created in 1776. Trump believes in free speech, he believes in the right to freedom of religion and he stands true to the second amendment. It is proven that Trump’s intentions are not to hurt America or its citizens but keep us safe by supporting the law enforcement and respecting the rules that were laid out in our Constitution so long ago.
Throughout the election process, U.S. voters have not hesitated on pointing out the negatives that President Trump brings to the table, however what is Harris bringing? Some may say that the potential presidency of Harris is an historic opportunity as she would be the first black woman in office, bringing fresh ideas to the future of this country, and “not going back.” Although this all sounds good, she also made bold statements that she, herself cannot live up to.
“There is no reason why we have assault weapons on the streets of America. They are weapons of war. We need an assault weapons ban,” Harris said.
As a weapon owner herself, this statement is one example of why she has not deemed herself fit for this role to lead the United States. While Trump may have his flaws, Harris lacks experience, holds questionable policies and her actions suggest that she is not ready to lead a nation in unity and strength.
Voting for Trump is not just about revisiting the past, it’s about securing the future.

Noah, this is the greatest article I’ve ever read. There is reason Donald J. Trump brought it home this time. Fair and square. Even the fact this close was somewhat close shows how uneducated our country is. Big things to come for these next 4 years!!!

I still cant believe were letting a FELON run for president! I don’t think anything that promotes one party should be on a school news website to be honest, but it is so nothing I can do about that. trump is NOT a good candidate for president, and having him in office is a horrible idea! he hasn’t deserved support since he was convicted, yet there seems to be a genre of people who support him. I dont particularly like kamala either, but even shes an upgrade! I think most trump supporters are either
A. bad people to
B. kids who are influenced by their parents and don’t do any of their own research
C. victims of their surroundings
Or D. ignorant people who believe everything the media tells them
we need to wake up and realize basically every politician is a huge liar + hypocrite. trump shouldnt be allowed to run. in fact, NO ONE with felony charges should be able to run for the LITERAL HIGHEST POSITION OF POWER!!!!!!!!!! seriously, everyone is ignorant now. sorry for my lengthy yap session this is the closest I get to twitter debates during class.

i think your claims on the economy are lazy at best. throughout this comment, i use an article about the economy under trump, written during his presidency, as my source for most of my claims. it’s called “Did Trump Create or Inherit the Strong Economy?”, published under the Joint Economic Committee and written by Carolyn Maloney. i’d recommend reading it, in case i provide a flawed portrayal of it. i’d also like to note that this is meant to be a critique, and i do think this article was necessary as a counterpart to the one on Harris.
the article shows how much of the economy was still booming from obama’s presidency, not by trump’s own policies. it also points out the flaws with how he raised tariffs, something he’s promised to do as well in his most recent campaign, near the end of page 2. this states that not only has it costed consumers more monetarily, but also cost many their jobs. furthermore, earlier on that same page, it states that the tax cuts set in place by trump did little and may even hurt more long term.
although i don’t have a reputable source, i have also heard that many economic policies from the previous term really only show their impact during the next. if this is true, then the economy under biden is ultimately trump’s. however, take this with a grain of salt.
thank you for your time if you read this.
