Senior Lundyn Treese passed away on Sunday Oct. 27. She was 17 years old. 

She attended Logan Elementary and McAuliffe Heights Elementary, Altoona Area Junior High School and Altoona Area High School. 

Lundyn was a defender on the girls’ soccer team from seventh to twelfth grade. She was also on student council her freshman year. 

Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.

There will be a candlelight vigil held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 30 at Providence Presbyterian Church.

Hey! During my third year on staff, my senior year, I have taken on the role of being Editor in Chief for Mountain Echo. My sophomore and junior year, I served as associate editor. Outside of school I enjoy hanging out with my best friend, exercising, watching Netflix, photography and working as a lifeguard and teaching swim lessons at the YMCA. After high school I plan to pursue a medical path, with the intent of being a nurse practitioner. I'm looking forward to this school year and seeing what it brings our way!
