Q: What is your name and what grade are you currently in?
A: “I am Adrian Pacifico, and I am in tenth grade.”
Q: In what grade did yearbook spark your interest?
A: “Probably seventh grade because I heard it was one of the electives for eighth grade, and it sparked my interest”
Q: Did anyone encourage you to join the yearbook class?
A: “It was mainly my own thing, but my seventh grade English teacher, Mrs. Zerbee helped me get in. So I would say she encouraged me.”
Q: What is your favorite part about yearbook?
A; “Definitely with pictures; just going out and seeing your friends and taking pictures.”
Q: Why is that your favorite part?
A; “I just don’t enjoy the writing parts, but I like taking photos.”
Q: How do you think the yearbook class can evolve in the future?
A; “I feel like if we had more punishment, we could actually get our work done faster. It’s not worth spending a lot of time on just a few things to get done.”
Q: What are you most looking forward to doing in yearbook within the next two years of high school?
A; “Probably just being an upperclassman, taking more pictures and just Mrs. Vanish trusting me to do more stuff.”
Q: What advice would you give upcoming yearbook staff members?
A; “If you don’t like Intro to Pub, then you’re probably not going to like the yearbook because some of the time you do go out and take pictures, but most of it is writing.”
Q: What has been your favorite memory in yearbook so far?
A; “Probably Games Night. Whenever I went there, I didn’t know how to use some of the cameras she gave us, but I watched one of my friends to see what they were doing. And I actually got to take about 1200 pictures.”
Q: Do you ever think about continuing this as a career outside of high school?
A; “I do think of where I could go to actually work with this. But then I think of what my parents want me to do. They want me to go to college and get a high paying job, all that stuff. I do want to go to college. I don’t know what I’m going to study or what my job’s going to be because I just don’t have much passion towards much.”
Q: What is one challenge about being a yearbook staff member?
A; “I’d say on the first day of school, I knew I think maybe three or four people in the class now. Now I know about eight which is better. But teamwork is definitely something you need for the class.”
