Q: What grade are you in?
A:”I’m a senior.”
Q: What are you most looking forward to for this coming year?
A: ”I’m looking forward to seeing where I end up going to college. I’m currently in the application process and looking forward to seeing where I end up and what I’m doing there.”
Q: How does your high school experience relate with your junior high experience?
A: ”Well, in both of my years there, I was a majorette, but this year I decided to focus on yearbook, which I also did in both junior high and high school, and my experience in junior high helped me with where I am now in high school.”
Q:Who do you feel like you look up to the most in the yearbook committee?
A:”I would definitely say Mrs. Vanish has been a big factor in where I’m at with yearbook. She’s pushed me a lot. But I also look up to my fellow editors, Rylie and Haley, because they pushed me to be better”
Q:How long have you been doing yearbook?
A: ”I’ve been doing yearbook since my eighth grade year and junior high.”
Q: Do you enjoy doing what you do in life?
A: “I think that I work really hard in school. I spend a lot of my time in school in the yearbook room. I also dedicate a lot of time and I just feel like I have a lot going on.”
Q: What three things that keep you going everyday?
A: ”I would definitely say my brothers and people around me and my friends. They push me to be better, and they make me want to keep going even when I don’t want to.”
Q: Do you like coming to school?
A:” Yes, yearbook’s definitely one of my favorite classes, and I’ve worked a long time with a lot of the kids. It makes me happy to see what they’re doing in the work that they turn in and what we accomplish.”
Q:Do you consider yourself successful?
A: ”Yes, I think I’ve worked really hard to make it in the Honor Society, and being the top 80 in my class. School wise and yearbook wise, I worked my way up from just a normal staff member to Design Editor and now to Editor in Chief. So I would consider myself pretty successful.”
Q: Do you ever imagine life if you didn’t do yearbook?
A: ”I think that if I didn’t do yearbook I’d have a lot more free time probably dedicated to something else, but I do appreciate my time with the yearbook.”
