Q: How did you become interested in yearbook?
A: “I did it my eighth grade year, and I loved it.I loved it, so I did it in high school.”
Q: How does this year’s yearbook experience compare with your junior high experience?
A: “It’s way more hard. There’s more deadlines, but I really like it.”
Q: In your opinion, what is the description of a perfect yearbook staffer?
A: “Probably someone who meets all their deadlines, maybe not perfect, meets all their deadlines and gets all their photo albums and stuff.”
Q: I’ve heard that yearbook students call themselves yerds. Could you explain why?
A: “Because we’re yearbook nerds. Because we’re just cooler than the average population of the high schoolers here.”
Q: What are you most looking forward to about this year’s yearbook?
A: “I like the freedom that comes with this year’s yearbook because last year we got to do stuff but this year comes with way more opportunities.”
Q: How were you chosen to be on yearbook staff as a freshman?
A: “I have genuinely no clue. I kind of told Miss Tromm that I wanted to do it, and then I’m guessing she recommended me or something.”
Q: Who do you look up to in the yearbook room and how has that person helped you?
A: Lily Stahlman, I love her. She’s my best friend, and she’s a very, very good photographer. She’s given me many tips that help.”
Q: What is the hardest part of being on the yearbook staff?
A: “Meeting deadlines. We never had to do that last year, and it’s been a rough transition.”
Q: If you could design any spread for the yearbook what would it be?
A: “I really like taking pictures of boy’s soccer, so probably that.
Q: What has been your favorite moment in the yearbook room this year?
A: “The pizza party was pretty memorable, and I liked that. We’re just having fun building our team.”
Q: Is there anything you’d like to add to the end?
“Join yearbook; it’s awesome. I like it.”
