Q: What made you want to become part of the yearbook staff as an eighth grader and continue in ninth grade?
A: “Just the connection with other people and being able to be a leader and a part of a bigger organization in the school, that’s cool.”
Q: Has it been harder to work for the junior high yearbook rather than the high school? why?
A: “I think junior high was easier, because we had a little bit more freedom of what we could do. But with high school, there’s a strict set of roles that have to be in the yearbook.”
Q: What page are you most excited for?
A: “The softball page. Because, I play softball.”
Q: What page do you really wish you had?
A: “I wish I had the Homecoming page because there were a lot of really good pictures from that night.”
Q: How do you multitask between traveling for softball on the weekends and getting all the work done?
A: “I mostly do my work on the ride there because I don’t have any other time for it.”
Q: If someone was hesitant on getting a yearbook how would you insist on getting one?
A: “I would say that you’re going to want it in the future because you’re going to want to see the memories and everything from each year growing in high school.”
Q: As you are a freshman are you going to continue for your next few years of high school if so what makes you stay if not why not?
A: “Yes, because I think being a part of it and being able to grow connections and being able to be a part of the yearbook is really cool.”
Q: What is your favorite part of the yearbook?
A: “Being able to work with other people and the imagination that comes from everyone.”
Q: When you think of your dream career would a yearbook help you in that career? If so, how ?
A: “I think taking pictures is a really big thing, even if you didn’t get in the yearbook, be something that takes pictures. But I think being able to take pictures for other people is really cool.”
Q: If you were to have a whole page dedicated to you what would it look like?
A: “It’d just be covered in softball.”
