Q: How do you manage your time between your clubs and your school work?

A: ”I usually use my community service time to do any work that I’m missing or as homework.”

Q: What made you so interested to join multiple clubs?

A: ”I got interested in certain clubs by either friends or seeing posters of them for some of the ones that I joined this year, like GSA and Friends of Rachel’s club. I joined because I was very interested in them and I wanted to join them earlier. I didn’t have the chance because of working, but now I do.”

Q: What keeps you motivated to keep up with your grades?

A: ”Getting accepted to colleges and being able to pass this year with ease so I can graduate.”

Q:  What makes your interest in painting stand out more than other art?

A: “Originally, I used to be more of a drawing person, but I just started doing a lot of more painting than anything. I really just enjoyed how interesting it was for me to be able to make some work 3D looking or more realistic, and I can do a lot of different types of painting and art with it.”

Q: You said you enjoy watching Youtube in your free time, what topics or Youtubers peak your interest? 

A: “I watch a lot of YouTube commentary. I’m subscribed to Brandon Ferris; he’s more just like a funny guy who buys a bunch of things and rates them.”

Q: I’ve heard that the Mountain Echo is really fun to be a part of. Do you agree, why or why not?

A:  “Yes, it’s very fun to be a part of and I love doing this type of work for myself. I truly enjoy writing and being able to post it out to everyone to see online. It’s really exciting even if you don’t get a lot of people seeing it, because that way, it’s like a portfolio for you, so for colleges and such, and it’s just an easy way to get an early start.”

Q: You said you play volleyball. What made you join the sport?

A: ”I’m not any professional in volleyball, and I don’t play for the school or anything, but I do use it as a hobby and to play with friends.I  really enjoy doing it. I’ve always wanted to do it for school, but sadly, I can’t because of all the clubs I have and my work.

Q: I’ve heard you are a kind and caring person. Are those words you would use to describe yourself and why?

A: “My friends love to call me caring. They sometimes say I’m over-caring. Absolutely. And I think that this is a good thing for anybody to just have compassion. And I wish more people could understand what other people could be going through during the day.”

Q: What impact do your friends and family have on you?

A:” I would say my friends and family impact my motivations. They help me get through  slumps, and they help me pursue what I really enjoy. They try their best to give me whatever money I need if I need help. That way I can continue to pursue trips and anything I would want to do.”

Q: What do you enjoy the most about being a part of a drama club?

A:” I enjoy being able to experience all the plays and musicals we do every year. And I also enjoy being able to see all the cool costumes we got way in advance, as I’m in costumes. And I enjoy putting them together because then it makes everyone feel like they’re special in certain ways.”
