Q: Do you like having a twin or not? If so, why?
A: “It’s fun, but it does get really annoying. When people confuse you, I just think it’s funny.”
Q: How did you become interested in badminton?
A: “Because with pickleball and other sports, we actually have to have good strength to hit it far and stuff. But with badminton we can just slightly tap it.”
Q: How did you come up with your cat’s name?
A: “There were a lot of worse names. Like, my brother said something about Barbecue Sauce. My sister said Princess, even though he’s a boy. And then my mom just said Milo. And then we just kept it.”
Q: How long have you had a cat?
A: “He is five. He turned five in July.”
Q: If you would do any other sport other than badminton, what would it be?
A: “I’d probably do tennis.”
Q: Does anyone else in your family play badminton? If so, how long have they been playing it?
A: “I know who my brother does, he plays it for the same reason that I do. But then my sister, she doesn’t like it as much, but she still plays it. And then my stepmom. I think my dad’s the only one who hasn’t played badminton. My stepmom did; she played in college. Then she just stopped playing to learn more in college.
Q:How would you feel if you had to move for college and leave your cat and twin and family back home?
A: “I would try to keep that I have a twin a secret so that we could do some fun stuff if we ever met back up.”
Q: What’s something you can’t live without?
A: “My family because everything else is fine. I can live without money or a lot of friends, but with family, you just need someone to go home to after the day.”
Q: Have you ever tried to be your twin for a day?
A: “In elementary school we swapped seats and swapped glasses and stuff. That’s really the only way people can tell us apart.”
Q:What’s your biggest goal to do in the future?
A: “Probably just to know what I’m going to do. No idea what I’m going to do, where to go for college or what to study or what job I want. So I just hope that I figure that out. That seems pretty important.”
