Lakemont Park’s rides are closed. The park contains the oldest roller coaster in United States.
Former Lakemont Park employee Maleah Koch worked for Lakemont for four months during the summer of 2023. Koch enjoys working her seasonal job with all her friends and people she met along the way.
“It’s sad to see such a fun place full of memories close,” Koch said “I grew up going there and that place holds so many memories.”
Lakemont will be closing down all rides permanently, including the oldest roller coaster in the United States down in the 2024 season.
