The girls’ gymnastics team meet will take place on Dec. 12 at Waynesboro at 6:30 p.m. and tickets will be sold at the door.
“I’m a little nervous for our first competition but I’m excited as well,” sophomore Linae Heaster said.”I like the school gymnastics team for the environment, and the friends it gives me and the exciting opportunities.”
The first home gymnastics meet will be held in the field house on Dec. 18 at 6 p.m.
“The gymnasts have worked hard during preseason, so I think they will be ready for when the season starts.” gymnastics manager Mariah Harris said.
The gymnasts have been practicing for over three weeks and practiced over Thanksgiving break everyday. They have five home meets this season.
