Gymnast Emma Bettwy competes in beam last season. Bettwy is captain of the team this year.
The first gymnastics meet is Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. in the fieldhouse.
“The gymnasts have worked hard during preseason, so I think they will be ready for when the season starts.” gymnastics manager Mariah Harris said.
The gymnasts have been practicing for over three weeks and practiced over Thanksgiving break everyday. They have five home meets this season.
