Attention Astronomy Club and FLC: This Thursday’s meeting from 2:50 p.m. – 3:20 p.m. will prepare us for our club holiday party and field trip next Tuesday evening. Please try to attend. The field trip of 92 students is nearly full, but you can still turn in signed permission slips to be added to our waitlist. With an evening of holiday trivia, teen shopping at Logan Towne Centre, and a bus tour through Lights on the Lake, it has something for everyone. Join us this Thursday after school so we can hammer out the details.

Attention current 10th grade students interested in pursuing a degree in Education after graduating High School: Penn State University will once again be hosting their annual Summer College Opportunity Program in Education. This 4-week program runs from July 1st through July 25. To be eligible, students must be from a diverse background, a current 10th grade student, enrolled in a college-prep curriculum, be interested in Education careers, and have a 3.0 GPA or better. Applications are available in the Counseling Office and are due January 13, 2025. Please see your school counselor for more information.
Attention Students: Unleash your holiday spirit and creativity. The Friends of Rachel Club is sponsoring a card drive for the Mountain Lion Backpack Program. Stop by the Friends of Rachel table at lunch to make a card for one of our elementary students. Cards will be placed in backpacks on December 19. Please help us promote kindness and help us to meet our goal of 1050 cards.
