Join Circle of Friends on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. as we get creative and make signs and posters to cheer on our Bocce Team for their big match against Hollidaysburg! This is your chance to show your school spirit, support our team and make some amazing signs that will fill the gym with Altoona pride! No artistic talent is required – just bring your energy, ideas, and a love for supporting our Bocce Team! Anyone is welcome to join, so grab a friend and come help us make this event extra special. Attention Seniors: The Altoona Area High School Alumni Association will once again award ten $1,000 scholarships to qualifying students. Students must have attended AAHS for your sophomore, junior and senior years. Please stop by the literature rack outside the guidance office to pick up an application. Completed applications must be turned in to the Guidance office no later than the end of the school day on Thursday, February 13, no exceptions!

Global Power Line Academy is offering a 10-week training course which will provide graduates of this program the ability to begin a career as an apprentice and work toward a journeyman classification.
