HEY STUDENTS! Ready for an adventure? In honor of Women’s History Month, we invite you to take part in an exciting book scavenger hunt that will introduce you to some of history’s most inspiring and trailblazing women.
How It Works: You’ll follow clues to discover books featuring amazing women—leaders, scientists, artists, activists, and more! Along the way, you’ll uncover fascinating facts, win prizes, and get inspired by stories of courage, resilience, and innovation. Prizes await those who complete the hunt! Gather your friends, sharpen your detective skills, and join us for a fun-filled celebration of women’s achievements throughout history. See Mrs. Lucas in the library to participate!
Attention students who are 15 to 18 years old, and looking for summer work: the Pennsylvania Outdoor Corps is hiring! Here are some details: The work begins June 30 and ends August 8th and is Monday through Friday. The pay is $15 an hour, and you will get around 37 hours per week! Crew members will join a team of peers to complete conservation and infrastructure projects on Pennsylvania’s public lands. If this opportunity sounds interesting to you, email Mrs. Starr, and she will send you a link to the application as well as a hard copy of information about the job. Don’t let this opportunity to earn great money and learn the value of properly managing our natural resources pass you by!
Attention Students: The next BSU meeting will be next Wednesday, March 19 after school in room A229. Please plan to attend as we will recap Black History Month and discuss important end of the year events.
