Attention Students: AAHS March Madness is coming. Will you be ready? 60 of your favorite teachers and four brave AAHS Seniors are seeded in a field of 64, which will be voted on by your, the students, over the next two weeks. Later this week, the full bracket will be revealed on the bridge, and paper brackets will be ready at lunch if you’d like to fill one out. Like last year, you can enter your picks online to compete against your friends and teachers, with special prized awarded to the top brackets. Be ready, as the bracket challenge will lock Monday, March 24 at 7 a.m., as games begin later that day. Earn the glory you know is rightfully yours with 2025 AAHS March Madness.
Attention AAHS Community (this means students and staff!) The newly formed CARE (Cancer Awareness Research & Education) Club will be selling individual daffodils on your way out of school Wednesday 3/10! You can pick up individual daffodils for $1.50 each from your friendly CARE club member as you leave school from either the A building by the fieldhouse or the B building by the main office! Get excited for spring with the CARE club by supporting the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days!
Attention students who are 15 to 18 years old, and looking for summer work: the Pennsylvania Outdoor Corps is hiring! Here are some details: The work begins June 30 and ends August 8 and is Monday through Friday. The pay is $15 an hour, and you will get around 37 hours per week! Crew members will join a team of
peers to complete conservation and infrastructure projects on Pennsylvania’s public lands. Attention AAHS freshmen and sophomores! The Spring Fling dance is happening on Thursday, March 20, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the AAHS Fieldhouse. Tickets are just $5 and must be purchased in advance from Mrs. Negri’s classroom (B-311) until March 19. No tickets will be sold at the door! To be eligible, you must be in good standing with no outstanding fines and fewer than five demerits. Semi-formal attire is required, and don’t forget your school ID for entry. No backpacks or bags are allowed, and security screening will be in place. Get ready for a fun night—see you at Spring Fling!
