Sign up. Students can sign up for the blood drive in their homerooms. Students who are 16 years old need a permission slip signed.
The blood drive will be held on April 8 sponsored by the student council. The drive will be held in the student commons and is run through the American Red Cross association.
“Students need to be in good health, weighing at least 110 pounds, no recent tattoos or having donated blood in the last 56 days,” adviser Amy Palfey said. “If they were recently sick and on an antibiotic they need to not sign up as well. Students need to eat breakfast and drink a lot of fluids.”
Students will be receiving a sign up sheet to donate. Students need to be 16 years old or older. If the student is 16 years old, they will need to take a permission slip from their homeroom teacher and return it signed by their parent or guardian.
