AAHS students have raised nearly $600.00 for the Altoona Food Bank
over the March Madness Tournament – great job! You’ll hear about our
teacher championship in an MLTV special, so let’s focus on which
students could still win the school-wide Bracket Challenge.
With a stop score of 98 points, Freshman Peyton Espigh will win it all if
his champion Mr. D’Angelo scores a victory today. But if D’Angelo
cannot seal the deal, it gets complicated. Junior Zach McGary is tied for
first with 98 points, but has lost his champion, and cannot gain more.
Currently buried in 21st place, Junior Marley Kelleher will surge to the
top spot with a Miss Ying victory. 10th grader Bailey Hoover and Junior
Chloe Gibson would take 2nd and 3rd place if Miss Ying reigns supreme.
Remember, our top 5 students will receive a special VIP movie and
popcorn afternoon in the Planetarium for themselves and an entourage
of friends, so let’s follow the action to the very end today. Good luck!
