Q: What will you be doing after high school?
A: I am planning on joining the carpenters union rather than attending college.

Q: Why did you decide to pursue work?
A: I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Co-Op through Harry’s Construction, which ultimately led me to decide that it’s a career path I’m passionate about pursuing.
Q: Why do you think this college/ job is the best choice for you? What about the school interests you?
A: I believe this job is the best fit for me because I’ve always preferred hands-on work over going back to school. Moreover, I find satisfaction in making someone’s day better by being skilled in my field, especially when I see the positive impact of my work.
Q: What other jobs/colleges were you considering?
A: I was contemplating enrolling in the Pittsburgh Institution of Mortuary Science to pursue a career as a mortician and a funeral home director.

A: Knowing that my job can be extremely hazardous at times, where I could potentially lose my life for certain job sites.
Q: What do you think will be the biggest change from high school to college/work?
A: Knowing that I’ll have to travel to certain locations for extended periods, away from friends and family, alone.
Q: How do you feel about senior year ending?
A: I feel happy and sad just all these emotions telling me to just get on with it and not care about other things, and to just make the best of what’s left.
