Art in Public Places class works on creating the mural. The mural will hang in the A building.
Kathryn Curry’s sixth period art in public places class have been working on a mural redesign for the mural in the A building stairwell for months now. After choosing a sketch for the mural with Principal Andrew Neely, the students made their decision.
“The current mural has seen its time,” Curry said. “I think that we as a school and community have grown since then, so a mural redesign seemed like a good idea.”
Students are currently working on the mural each day during class and outside of class. The mural is expected to be finished by the middle of the year.
