I’m a junior, I play basketball and I jump in track and field. I took Intro to Publications and really enjoyed writing about athletics and stories that came up throughout the year; so I joined Mountain Echo. If I’m not at school I’m probably with my friends, playing basketball, or sleeping while listening to music. I listen to all kinds of music but my favorite artists at the moment are Mac Miller and Frank Ocean.

Robotics class works on projects

Shawn Roland starts to create the second part to his robot. This happened in Harpster's robotics class.

Sophomore Brody Brazile reads instructions for his team. They were beginning their robot.

Freshman Gage Hallinan flipped his robot onto its back. He tried wiring two pieces together.

Sophomore Aaden Aveni corrects a piece of his robot. He helped his team.

The students work together to try to fit two pieces together. They started with the frame of his robot.

Freshman Jenna Weyant works to build a robot. They were trying to make it able to drive when controlled.

While looking for his next piece to his robot, the student was nearing the end of his project. The student asked his partner if he had a piece to finish it.

Weyant starts reading instructions to begin their robot building. They did this in Frank Harpster's robotics class.

The team reads the instructions. Students in Harspter's class started to create a robot for a project.

Game Away. Markell her tried to find a game to play in his free time. Eventually, playing YouTube instead.

To Remember. Students drew pictures on Dan Harpsters wall to remember the time they had before classes got switched. Students draw the picture during free time in class.

Note Time. Markell Herr took notes on his new robotic class syllabus. He is listening to Dan Harpster talk about the robots they will use.

Plotting on the year. Student name held his hands together trying to take the lecture in. Student keeps his Chromebook open to take notes.

Winner Winner. Dan Harpster presented a program used in his class. He wants to show students the beginning of robotics.

Taking it in. A student listened carefully to teacher Dan Harpster's safety guide.

Watch and Learn. Dan Harpster teaches new students about what they will learn about this upcoming semester. He did this to show new students what the semester will bring.
