Caley’s Convoy

Caley Galarneau- Majorettes

Q: Why did you run for Homecoming candidate?

A: I wanted to run for Homecoming to make great memories with my friends and to be able to say, ‘Hey, I ran for homecoming and I had a blast!’ This year has been a rollercoaster of events and emotions and I feel like being able to run for homecoming helps me be able to truly have the “senior experience.” I am extremely grateful that my team chose me to represent the squad.

Q: If you were chosen as the queen, how will you fulfill the responsibilities associated with the title?

A: If I were chosen as the homecoming queen I would be so ecstatic. It is such an honor and an amazing opportunity; additionally, I would put my full effort into showing that our peers voted for a student who will represent the school in a great way! I think the responsibilities that come along with the title show character, determination and attitude towards all situations in life. I think I would be able to fulfill these responsibilities by being myself.

Q: What is the best thing about Homecoming?

A: I think the best thing about homecoming is games night. I was on a homecoming team my junior year and being at an event with all of your friends, while competing and having a great time, is an amazing experience.

Q: What are your plans for the future?

A: I will be attending Robert Morris University this fall for Criminal Justice with a double minor in psychology and forensics. I am joining the Army through their ROTC program, and I am going to continue my twirling career with the RMU Marching Band.

Q: Why should people vote for you?

A: I think people should vote for me because I am humble, hard working and dedicated. I apply myself to all aspects in life and work as hard as I can to be as successful as possible. Although there are times in life where things get hard, I continue to push myself and persevere. I think it is important to have a drive that will not only make your friends, family and peers proud, but also yourself. I hope that everyone can find that drive deep within that will help them in all aspects through their entire life.
