Gracie Wilt
Q: Who is going to be your escort?
A: Senior Connor Lindsey
Q: What are you representing for the school?
A: Softball
Q: Why do you believe people should vote for you?
A: I believe people should vote for me because softball is not a very big thing at AAHS. We have been struggling for years to come up with not only girls to play but wins during our seasons as well. I think if I were to win, it would show some of the current AAHS students that softball is well represented and really fun. I’m also involved in many other clubs here at AAHS including student council, NHS and executive committee.
Q: What are you most looking forward to during Homecoming week?
A: I’m excited to participate in theme days and games night with my teammates.
Q: Why did you decide to run for Homecoming royalty?
A: I decided to run for Homecoming because softball doesn’t get nearly as much exposure in school as other sports do, and the exposure given to the softball team is usually negative. I think that running for Homecoming can attract positive attention and pull softball from the shadows of other sports.
Q: If you’re chosen as royalty, how will you fulfill your responsibilities?
A: I will continue to represent AAHS softball with high academic achievement and athletic achievement during softball season.
